Pagoda
The Seattle Japanese Garden, along with so many other Seattle icons, opened to the public in 1960 preemptive to the World's Fair of 1962. The garden was designed by Juki Iida, world renowned landscape designer, faithful to the principle of shizensa, meaning the essence of nature.
